The story begins with House of Gentlemen, a dream nurtured by a desire to celebrate the modern man in all his glory, far from the generic and uninspiring spaces that dominated the industry.
As avid explorers of global cultures, we soaked in diverse traditions while cherishing the unwavering British standards that define true integrity. Dissatisfied with the limitations of unisex salons and the stereotypes surrounding male grooming, we envisioned a sanctuary for refinement and style — the House of Gentlemen. However, we resisted conforming to the conventional barbershop mould, awaiting the right inspiration to elevate our concept.
That inspiration struck unexpectedly in the form of 'The High Sign,' a classic American film discovered down an alley in Croatia. The debonair Buster Keaton, outsmarting a gang in the decadent 1920s, fuelled our vision of a contemporary grooming club. This momentous encounter set the stage for House of Gentlemen, where sophistication meets rebellion, and every client is embraced as an individual.

Fast forward to the present, and the House of Gentlemen has undergone a transformative chapter. Acquired by Matthew Salvin, the visionary force behind Skins N Needles, our barbershop has evolved into House of Gentlemen & Ladies. Here, the artistry of barbering seamlessly intertwines with hairdressing, providing a comprehensive grooming experience for both genders.
The ethos of House of Gentlemen & Ladies is a celebration of individuality, where each visitor is treated to a personalised journey of style and self-discovery.
